The 17,000-square-foot Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson Workforce Development Center was designed to inspire the next generation of leaders through engaging, technology-focused learning environments. Located within the Holmes Tuttle Clubhouse, the facility expands programming for teens with dedicated spaces supporting robotics, computer coding, culinary arts, podcasting, 3D printing, and workforce development. The design emphasizes vibrant colors, flexible furnishings, and interactive environments that encourage creativity, collaboration, and exploration while supporting the organization's mission to prepare youth for future educational and career opportunities. Custom environmental graphics and thoughtfully selected furnishings further reinforce a dynamic, welcoming atmosphere tailored to the evolving needs of the students and community.

As Studio Director, I provided design leadership and project oversight throughout the design and construction process, supporting Lead Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager Carla Martinez while ensuring the project maintained a cohesive design vision. I guided the refinement of interior concepts, color palettes, and construction documentation, while providing quality control through construction administration. I also supported coordination with the client, architects, consultants, and contractors, fostering long-term relationships that contributed to the project's successful delivery. My role focused on mentoring the design team, maintaining design excellence, and ensuring the completed environment reflected both the client's goals and the needs of the students it serves.
