Tucson Plastic Surgery is a 3,200 square-foot boutique plastic surgery practice envisioned as a luxury destination where every aspect of the patient experience was intentionally curated from arrival through recovery. Working within an existing building, the design transformed the practice into a sophisticated environment that reflected the physicians' brand while improving circulation, patient flow, and overall functionality. Reconfiguring the existing layout refined life safety and egress while creating spaces that felt purposeful rather than adapted. The interior was elevated through a refined material palette, curated artwork, and custom wallcoverings illustrated by Within Studio's graphics team. In collaboration with our in-house graphics team at Within Studio, the project also introduced a comprehensive branding package, environmental graphics, and a signature scent developed exclusively for the practice, extending the brand beyond the built environment into retail merchandise.
As the Senior Interior Designer, I served as the primary interior design lead while supporting project management throughout all phases of the project. Working closely with the Project Manager, I coordinated with the client, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and our studio's graphics team to bring the design vision to life. My responsibilities included space planning, finish and material selection, healthcare code compliance, project documentation, construction administration, furniture specification and procurement coordination, and guiding design decisions from concept through completion.
